Bubbleology
I thought I would never find authentic Taiwanese bubble tea in London.
But there you go, There is Bubbleology!
I think the guy on the right is the owner.. |
Assad Khan. Photo from Google search |
As the owner, Assad Khan was so in love with bubble tea while he was working in New York (why NY?),
He travelled to Taiwan where bubble tea is originally from to learn how to make it authentically
The whole story is on their website, Bubbleology
I like the fact that they dressed like scientists working in a lab..
and the shop is full of Taiwanese people.
And they are selling those flavours that I thought I could only taste/see in Taiwan in the shop
YAY!!!
The milk tea itself was good and aromatic.
There were no many bubbles/ pearls (we call it "pearl" in Taiwan) in cup
But overall it was tasty and fairly authentic.
It made me a bit nostalgic actually.. :'(
I will definitely go back to get another one.
Might even become a regular!
Caravaning
As J's sister bought a new caravan, we joined them camping/ caravaning this weekend in Milton Keynes.
It was in a leisure park called Cosgrove.
They built an awning to enlarge the whole space for them to use
For me, it was an experience...
6 of us crammed inside the caravan for dinner and sleep
Even cooking and watching TV, just like a normal family
I liked it but yet loved it.. As I know this camping thing is not for me at all
They are going to Dorset next weekend
Will I go with them? I don't think so. And I don't think J will go either. hehe

Sunrise..
How long haven't you sat down watching sun rising?
Ages for me..
I got up early before 6 this morning for an 8 o'clock briefing in London.
I opened the blind as soon as I got up, and I saw this scene..
Beautiful, isn't it?
But still, I wouldn't wake up early just for seeing sun rising..
It's beautiful, but...not worth it.. I need sleep. Ha!
Chocolate Muffin Cake
I made it today..
I don't have any muffin tray to make proper muffins
So I poured the mixture in a cake mould.
And Voila!!
Oh.. I love self-raising flour!

I Could Be A Traveller
J sister's family bought a new caravan
Very nice interior, roomy, comfy and I was feeling secure/safe while I was in it..
2 seating areas, both could be converted to beds..
The area, shown above in the photo, where they are sitting in is one of them..
Separate toilet and shower..
Bunk bed for the kids
This is the second seating area next to the bunk bed which could be converted to a double bed as well
I really like it..
We spent the whole afternoon in the van
I think I could be a traveller living in a caravan for the rest of my life.
